MACAHEL
FLORA
Macahel area
is surrounded by Karcal Mountains on three sides.
Due to heavy
snowfalls that start at the end of autumn, the roads are usually
closed for six months. That's why the flora is untouched and
unique.
Genetical
properties of Apis Mellifera Caucasica and rich natural beauties
are very well maintained.
The honey is
remarkable quality; it belongs to the special categories of
local European Honeys and it distinguishes itself from the rest
due to its physical and chemical characteristics.
Its supreme
quality is by large an attribute to Macahel nature with its long
sunshine periods and the abrupt changes in the lanscape.
There are
high mountains and low hills side by side, inbetween them small
valleys and the plants that extend to the riverside.
In Macahel
area, there are different types of wild flowers, herbs,
pharmaceutical and aromatic plants, short bushes and tall trees
which are rarely found in Europe or not found at all.
